Hello! I’m Naoko, a professional photographer based in Singapore.
I am deeply passionate about capturing not just a single frame, but the very mood, energy, and atmosphere of Singapore’s iconic locations—all bathed in the beautiful, distinctive light of the tropics.
From cherished personal milestones like weddings and family portraits to professional needs such as executive headshots, corporate interviews, and large-scale event coverage,
I work with both individual and corporate clients across a wide range of photography styles.
-How My Journey Began-
It all started in high school when I came across an old film camera among the belongings left behind by my grandfather, who had been an avid photographer.
The pure excitement I felt the day I developed those first experimental photos became the foundation of everything I do. Captivated by the magic of turning the world through my eyes into a single photograph, I immersed myself in the craft—even converting my own bedroom into a darkroom.
By nature, I was quite shy, but holding a camera miraculously dissolved those barriers, allowing me to fully engage with the beauty right in front of me. That single camera passed down from my grandfather opened up a path to connect people, heart to heart.
Having turned my lifelong passion into my career, the core philosophy that guides my work is "reading the space."
It comes down to finding that subtle, perfect distance with my subjects while honoring the natural beauty of the location and light.
By holding a space that is both warm and objectively calm, I create an environment where people feel comfortable enough to reveal their true, effortless beauty.
My goal is to thoughtfully capture the unique story each person holds, delivering timeless, high-quality images that you will treasure for years to come.

現在シンガポールを拠点に活動しているフォトグラファーです。
南国特有の美しい光が差し込む中、魅力あふれるシンガポールのロケーションを舞台に、その場の息遣いや空気感までをも写真に収める瞬間に、何よりも魅力を感じています。
ウェディングやファミリーフォトといった大切な人生の節目から、大手企業のインタビュー撮影、エグゼクティブ向けのプロフィール写真、コーポレートイベントまで、
個人・法人を問わず幅広いジャンルの撮影をお手伝いさせていただいております。
＜カメラと写真との出会い＞
高校生の時、写真好きだった祖父の遺品から見つけた、古いフィルムカメラ。
手探りで撮った写真を現像したあの日の高揚感が、すべての原点です。
自分が見つめる世界が一枚の絵になる感動に魅せられ、自室に暗室を作るほど写真にのめり込んでいきました。
本来は人見知りな性格ですが、カメラを構えると不思議と人との壁が消え、目の前の魅力に没頭できます。祖父から届いた1台のカメラが、人と人、心と心をつなぐ道を開いてくれました。
こうして大好きな写真を仕事にできた今、撮影において長年大切にしているのは、
”空間を読む”ことです。
被写体との「絶妙な距離感」と「その場所や光が持つ美しさ」それらを丁寧に見極めながら、シャッターを切っています。
心を通わせながらも客観性を保つ絶妙な間（ま）があるからこそ、人はふとした瞬間にありのままの美しさを見せてくれます。
それぞれが持つ唯一無二の物語を丁寧にすくい上げ、何年経っても愛していただける上質な写真をお届けいたします。
